It does not cover the records we keep about residents in our care, which are governed separately by California Title 22 regulations and our resident agreements.

Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form on this website, we collect the name, email address, and phone number you enter, the content of your message, and the page or location you submitted the form from. You choose what to put in these fields.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server records standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Our security software also logs this information to identify malicious activity.
Cookies. Our website uses cookies for basic functionality and performance, and for the analytics described below. Embedded content from other sites, such as Google Maps on our location pages, may set its own cookies as though you had visited that site directly.
Please Do Not Send Medical Information
The contact form on this website is not a secure channel and is not intended for medical information. Please do not include diagnoses, medical records, medication lists, or detailed health history in the message field.
We are glad to discuss your loved one’s specific care needs, and we will do that by phone or in person where the conversation can be private.

We use the information you submit through our contact forms only to respond to your inquiry, answer your questions, arrange a tour, and follow up with you about placement.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

This is worth stating plainly, because it is common practice in the senior care industry. Many websites that appear to be care providers are referral services that sell your inquiry to multiple facilities. When you contact Genesis Manor, you are contacting Genesis Manor.
Analytics and Website Measurement
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and use this website. These tools set cookies in your browser and collect the pages you view, how long you spend on them, your device and browser type, your approximate location based on IP address, and the site or search that referred you.
We also record certain actions: when a visitor taps a phone number, clicks for directions, or submits a contact form, and which of our homes that page belongs to. This tells us which pages are actually helping families and which ones need work.
What these tools do not receive is what you write to us. When you submit a contact form, our analytics records that a submission happened and which home it came from. Your name, email address, phone number, and message go to us, not to Google. We have set it up this way deliberately.
This information is reviewed in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors. Google processes it under its own privacy practices, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.
Who Has Access to Your Information
Form submissions are received by the administrator of the home you inquired about and by our office. We do not share them beyond our own family and staff.
We use third-party services to operate this website, and some of them process technical or submitted information on our behalf:

- Our email provider, which delivers and stores form notification emails
- Google Maps, which powers the maps embedded on our location pages
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manger, which measure how the website is used

How Long We Keep It
We keep contact form submissions and the resulting email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you contact us again. Automated server and security logs are retained on a rolling basis and overwritten over time.
If you would like us to delete an inquiry you sent, ask and we will.
Your Choices and How to Reach Us
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you from this website, correct anything inaccurate, or delete it.
Email info@genesismanor.com or call (909) 775-5180. Please give us enough detail to locate the inquiry, such as the name and email address you used and roughly when you contacted us. We will respond within a reasonable time and we will not treat you differently for asking.
You can also set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as expected.
If you would rather Google Analytics not collect information about your visits to any website, Google offers a browser add-on that turns it off at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how websites should respond to it, and our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not track visitors across other websites for advertising purposes.
Children
This website is intended for adults researching care for an older family member. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
