Genesis Manor V is a six-resident home on Bethany Circle in Claremont. It is the home where several of our longest-tenured residents live, including families who came to us after a stroke or a dementia diagnosis made living alone impossible. We coordinate regularly with Kaiser and with outside hospice teams, and families here tend to describe the caregivers as part of the family rather than as staff.

Who This Home Is Right For
Many families arrive at this house after a stroke or a dementia diagnosis has made living alone impossible, and after a hospital or rehab stay has already ended. Residents here need daily hands-on help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, and medications given on schedule.
It suits residents in the early and middle stages of dementia, and residents already receiving home health or hospice care. It is not the right home for someone actively trying to leave the house or someone who needs an awake caregiver through the night.
What the House Is Like
Up to six residents, four private rooms and one shared room. A caregiver lives on site around the clock, seven days a week. Meals are cooked in the kitchen, three a day plus snacks. A licensed physician visits monthly and medications are delivered six days a week.
Length of stay here runs long, which is the thing worth knowing about this house. Families tend to describe the caregivers as part of the family rather than as staff, and we coordinate regularly with Kaiser and with outside hospice agencies so a resident whose needs increase can stay in the room they already know.

Bethany Circle is a quiet residential circle in Claremont, close to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and convenient to Kaiser Permanente locations across the Pomona Valley. Street parking out front, and visiting hours are whenever you want to visit.

When you arrive
The administrator walks you through the house, including the four private rooms, the shared room, the kitchen, and the yard. Ask how long the caregivers here have been with us; length of stay runs long in this house, for residents and caregivers both. You will meet the people who would be working with your loved one.
After the visit
No deposit and no paperwork on the day. If it feels right, the next step is a care assessment. If it does not, tell us and we will suggest other homes worth seeing.
Cost and Payment at This Home
A shared room starts at $4,750 a month and a private room starts at $5,250, plus a one-time $1,000 admission fee. The rate covers the room, all meals, around-the-clock care and supervision, medication assistance, housekeeping, laundry, and coordination with your loved one’s doctors and pharmacy.
This home is in Los Angeles County, one of the counties participating in the Medi-Cal Assisted Living Waiver, and also accepts VA Aid and Attendance, long-term care insurance, and private pay.
